Angie holds a PhD from the Institute for Clinical Social Work and MA from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. After retiring in 2010 from her career in social work she became an involved Village member, currently as Chair of the Research committee. She has served on the boards of the Family Institute, Institute for Clinical Social Work, and Family Network, a Family Focus agency. She lives in Lincoln Park near her favorite place, Caldwell Lily Pool Garden, where Angie is a volunteer docent.

Molly Matthias

Molly holds a B.A. in History and Sociology from Loyola University Chicago. She currently serves as Associate Director Of Development at Facing History Chicago, an international educational non-profit organization. Prior to that, she was Manager of Mentoring and Inclusion Programs at Chicago Innovation, overseeing both the Ageless Innovator program and the Women’s Mentoring Co-op. Molly is passionate about building inclusive communities and is an eager participant in Village initiatives and programs including the Bridging Generations Board and the 2021 Annual Benefit She resides in Hyde Park, Chicago.

Liz Metzger

Liz is an occupational therapist who works primarily in home health. She has served on the Board for the Allen Cognitive Network since 2011, currently holding the position of treasurer and recently co-authored the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Practice Guidelines on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Neurological Disorders. Liz was the Village Chicago’s first intern in 2009 and has since served in many roles including member of the Health and Wellness Initiative; part of the internal team that created the framework for the Brain Health/Memory Loss program, founding Whip of the Bridging Generations Board, and challenging question developer for Trivia Nights. Liz lives in Lincoln Park and in her free time enjoys being with her family – husband, Avi, daughters, Adele and Natalie, and mom, Judy.

Gail C. Moss

Gail holds a BA from Tufts University, a Master’s in Education from Temple University and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her career has included public school teaching and real estate sales and development and she is currently an artist and lecturer. Gail has served on several boards including Hubbard Street Dance Company, Music of the Baroque Women’s Board, the Lincoln Park Zoo, Advisory Board for Cultural Affairs under Richard Daley and is currently a trustee of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Avid fisherman Gail with her rescue dog Frederick now divides her time between the Florida Keys and Lincoln Park where she resided for 38 years with her late husband Joseph.

Tom Pasker

Tom is the Vice President & Branch Manager at Wintrust Bank – Old Town. He has been with Wintrust for about eight years and previously worked at JPMorgan Chase for 15 years. Originally, he is from a small town in Iowa–Dyersville, “Home of the Field of Dreams.” Tom completed his BA at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He lived in Chicago for about 20 years and currently resides in Evanston. He is an involved member of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce Illinois and Ambassador for the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce. Carol Stein

Carol earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University, Chicago. Carol was an English teacher in the Chicago Public Schools and a social worker in the Mundelein Public Schools. She has been a board member of Thresholds; Personal Pac; The Medical Research Institute Council; The American Jewish Committee; and she was president of the Joint Action Committee for Political Affairs. Currently she serves on the foundation board of The Chicago High School for the Arts. As an actor Carol has performed in theater, film and commercials. She has been involved with the Village since 2014. She currently serves on the Life 3.0 Committee and organizes exciting activities for the “Adventurer’s Club.”

Lois Stuckey

Lois has been involved with the Village since its inception in 2008. Before rejoining the Board in 2019, she served two terms and was instrumental in developing the Program Committee. She enjoys entertaining in her home with husband Rick, including the Annual Barbecue. During her career, Lois held management positions at Jays Potato Chips, Procter & Gamble, and International Paper Company. She now enjoys travel, theater, music, food, meditation, gardening, reading, and movies

Vamse Kumar Subbiah

Vamse Kumar was introduced to The Village Chicago through Board Lead, a national organization that selected the Village through a rigorous competition to participate in their board diversity program. Vamse Kumar currently manages a team of Data Scientists and Engineers as a part of Emerging Tech – an AI team at world-renowned consulting firm PwC (formerly PriceWaterhouse Coopers). He has built several AI enabled wellness tools, including an advanced Retirement Planning Simulator which has become a part of the Financial Wellness program at PwC and is also used by many major banks. Vamse Kumar has a master’s degree from W.P Carey School of Business (ASU) where he was also a Student Ambassador. Vamse Kumar lives in Lincoln Park with his wife Sivamalini.

Carlos Terrazas

Carlos Terrazas is the Disability Inclusion Manager for McDonald’s Corporation. His strong background in strategic planning, problem solving, and implementation–coupled with his convivial personality, makes him a powerful force in developing inclusive experiences for disabled people. Carlos is a member of many of Chicago’s disability focused organizations, including Disability: In Chicagoland. He also was a 2022 Fellow at Disability Lead, a leading local organization. Carlos lives in the Fulton Market area and in his spare time, he enjoys reading, dining out, and exploring Chicago.

Janet Walters

Jan practiced as a Psychiatric Social Worker, trained at Charlie Trotter’s as a dessert chef, and was a competitive horseback rider on the American Saddlebred Horse circuit. She practiced at the University of Michigan Children’s Psychiatric Hospital and Psychiatric Clinic, and in private practice specializing in intensive psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She has been a board member of Achievement Rewards for College Scientists and a volunteer for Y-Me. Jan is a graduate of the University of Michigan (MSW).
