Services (working on version)

“… a community of compassion and support.”

If you need help, the Village provides individualized attention from our professional staff who evaluate requests and provide appropriate referrals or support. These resources enhance independence by enabling informed choices about your household, health and safety.

The Village responds to more than 100 new service requests from members every month. From helping to connect via Zoom, to jump starting a car on a cold winter day, to next day sourcing of the equipment and care-giving needed for a broken leg – the Village has fulfilled thousands of service requests by connecting, recommending and supporting members.

Referral Network: Hundreds (and growing) of vetted service providers for member requests of all kinds: plumbers, handymen, eye surgeons, caregivers, dog-walkers, tech support and more.

Rides Program: Provides members with rides to medical appointments and other essential trips using a cadre of volunteer drivers. (This program is currently on hold due to physical distancing requirements.)

Financial: Helpful seminars and referrals to a variety of financial experts depending on individual needs.

Changing Needs
The Village supports members experiencing life transitions that require information, services, or facilities.

Village volunteer drivers provide members with more than just transportation to appointments.

Tech support
Technology is crucial to staying connected.

Give help, get help
The Village has a spontaneous culture of giving back.

Referral to expertise
Whether it’s a house sitter, legal counsel, or a trusted knee surgeon, the Village can find and vet the resources you require.

Community Partners
We are grateful to our partners within the community who share expertise, collaborate with us on programs and events and provide venues where our community can come together.
