We are excited to announce a new movie group!
Village fans of movies from the 1930’s and 40’s are starting a new movie group. If Ninotchka or Captain Blood or Random Harvest are among your favorite films, you’ll be right at home! In addition to discussing the films, they will also talk about the scores and the wonderful composers of the era.
The group will meet from 5:30-6:30 PM on Zoom the first Tuesday of the month. The first session will be Tuesday, July 5 and the first film will be The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) starring Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Basil Rathbone, and Claude Raines with an Academy Award winning score by Erich Korngold. The film can be rented on Amazon Prime for $3.99 or viewed free on YouTube.
