Reading the Rainbow: Open Throat by Henry Hoke Presented by the LGBTA Committee

Wednesday, October 9 @ 5:00 pm

Free

Location: via Zoom

Members & guests: free.

Join us for an engaging discussion of Henry Hoke’s innovative novel, Open Throat. This Pen/Faulkner Award Finalist is told from the perspective of a lonely, queer mountain lion living in the barren landscape beneath LA’s Hollywood sign. Exploring themes of climate change, identity, and belonging, Open Throat blends the everyday with the mythical in this moving, singular novel. People of all identities, including allies, are welcome!
