We all know that being a caregiver for someone with dementia is emotionally draining, physically demanding, stressful, and time consuming. But caregiving also affects our cognition in striking and important ways. It’s not just the person living with dementia who changes. We, the caregivers, change too. Let’s explore how dementia caregiving wreaks havoc on how we think, feel, and behave. And let’s talk about what we can do about it. Feel free to stay after the presentation for a reception.
About the Presenter: Dasha Kiper, clinical trainer and author of Travelers to Unimaginable Lands.
