We warmly invite you to an intergenerational picnic at the new AIDS Memorial Garden to celebrate the last days of summer in community! Bring family and friends of all ages and stages, and picnic fare (food/drinks, folding chairs, blankets, games, etc) for a fun afternoon. Beginning with remarks on the gardens from Sidney Thomas, a leader in healthcare equity and HIV/AIDS activism in and beyond Chicago, we will spend the afternoon sharing conversation, food, and laughter. Water, hand sanitizer, and a few other basics will be available, and we encourage folks to bring packaged food or picnic supplies to share if they are able. Please join us for a lovely Saturday celebrating intergenerational community and collaboration!
Presented by the LGBTA Committee, Life 3.0, and the Bridging Generations Board
